Who We Are

Pool of Living Water is a fully registered Christian ministry under the Registrar of Societies, in accordance with the Societies Act (Cap. 108) of the Laws of Kenya. Our ministry is founded on the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Apostolic faith. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we are committed to preaching the Gospel, making disciples, promoting holy living, and serving communities through prayer, healing, deliverance, evangelism, discipleship, and compassionate outreach. Through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, many people have testified of answered prayers, renewed hope, restored families, spiritual freedom, and transformed lives. We give all glory and honour to God for His faithfulness and grace.

Vision

To be a Spirit-filled ministry that transforms lives through the preaching of the Gospel, prayer, healing, discipleship, and the demonstration of God's love and power.

Mission

To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, lead people to salvation, nurture believers into mature disciples, minister healing and restoration, and equip them to serve God and their communities through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Purpose

To glorify God by leading people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, nurturing them through biblical teaching and discipleship, and empowering them to serve God and humanity with faith, love, and integrity.

Key Objectives

Statement of Faith

We believe:

  • The Holy Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God.
  • There is one God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the only Saviour of the world.
  • Salvation is by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ.
  • The Holy Spirit empowers believers for holy living and Christian service.
  • The Church is called to worship God, make disciples, and proclaim the Gospel to all nations.
  • Jesus Christ will return in glory to establish His everlasting Kingdom.

Leadership

Apostle Sarah Tsalwa

Founder & Overseer

Provides the ministry's spiritual leadership and oversight across all branches and fellowship centres.

Senior Pastor Maxwell Oudo

Senior Pastor

Serves alongside the Overseer in pastoral leadership and the day-to-day shepherding of the congregation.

The ministry is served by ten (10) pastors overseeing branches across Migori County, supported by committed evangelists who actively participate in missions, crusades, discipleship, prayer ministry, and evangelistic outreach, together with a dedicated team of church elders.

Languages of Worship

Services are conducted in English, Kiswahili, Dholuo (Mother Tongue). Interpretation is provided where necessary to ensure clear understanding of the Word of God.
